American Express announced plans to offer some of its card members free access to Gogo in-flight Internet starting next year.

The Gogo Preferred Program, which will only be available from American Express, will give holders of the company’s Business Platinum Card ten Gogo in-flight passes per calendar year.

The service will be available Gogo-enabled aircraft on eight airlines: Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways, and Virgin America.

American Express did not announce a start date for the program.

Gogo’s pricing typically $5 for one hour to $16 for a 24-hour pass.
