Clik here to view.American Airlines announced plans to operate a daytime flight linking Philadelphia and London next spring. The flight will be operated by its US Airway subsidiary.
Flights will depart Philadelphia International Airport at 9:55 a.m. and arrive at London Heathrow at 10:10 p.m. Flights from London will depart at 8:20 a.m. and arrive in Philadelphia at 11:35 a.m.
American will operate the flight using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
On Friday, Delta Air Lines announced that it would launch Philadelphia-London service on April 8. The slot for Delta’s Philadelphia-London Heathrow route became available after the European Commission, the European Union’s antitrust regulator, required American Airlines to give up one slot on this route in order to gain approval for its merger with US Airways.
